Indonesia-based big data management and analytics provider Delman has raised $1.6 million seed round led by Intudo Ventures with participation from Prasetia Dwidharma Ventures and Qlue Performa Indonesia, according to a statement.

Founded in early 2018, Delman claims its customers are able to expedite data integration and management from multiple sources up to 30 times faster.

With this round of financing, Delman will continue to develop its big data analytics ecosystem, set up an R&D centre in Surabaya and hire software engineers and data scientists.

“By combining a highly localized approach with global technical expertise, Delman is providing Indonesian businesses with Indonesian-developed big data solutions, ultimately leading to better outcomes for end-users,” said Eddy Chan, Founding Partner at Intudo Ventures.
