witter and FT China jointly published the 2019 Twitter Chinese Brand Overseas Influence Report, revealing, for the first time ever, the Most Influence Overseas Award with enterprises such as Xiaomi, Huawei, and Tencent on the list.
In high-tech, the listed Chinese enterprises include (sorted alphabetically): DJI Innovation, Honor, Huawei, Lenovo, OnePlus, OPPO, TCL, Transsient Holdings, vivo, and Xiaomi; in gaming, the listed Chinese enterprises include NetEast, and Tencent, etc.; in e-commerce: AliCloud and others.
Also listed are enterprises which settled and grew quickly in emerging oversea markets such as Southeastern Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. They include Club Factory, HAGO, and others.
The report is based on Twitter’s platform big data, focusing on the industries of high-tech, gaming, mobile application, and international e-commerce. It ranked the companies’ performance on brand marketing and effective marketing on the platform by analysing content quality, update frequency, and interaction, among other aspects. These determine the winner of the Most Influence Overseas Award.
