Noon, the e-commerce venture operating in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, on Tuesday announced its expansion into Egypt. By far, customers in Egypt can order from the beta version of noon.com. Mohamed Alabbar, founder of noon, said that the company has started building strong relationships with the local retail community and customers. Noon will also set up a Customer Fulfillment Center (CFC) in Cairo, Egypt. The digital marketplace, brought to life by entrepreneur Mohamed Alabbar, was officially launched two years ago in the United Arab emirates and 14 months ago in Saudi Arabia. Now it has made Egypt its third regional market. Noon said it promises to bring customers in Egypt more choice, affordability and convenience across a wide range of products including electronics, fashion, beauty, baby, home and kitchen, as well as free, fast delivery and free returns. Unlike the two other sites, Noon Egypt is now 'Steal The Deal', with 300 skus for sale. The company said that during the initial test period, it will offer a large amount of discounted promotions.
